Ok, so you’re here to learn how to stop armpit sweat. Well in this article I’m going to talk to you about how you can deal with really bad excessive underarm sweating. I’m not just talking about the little bit of sweat after a hot day, I’m talking about dripping wet sweat that can happen almost anywhere.

Excessive underarm sweating is medically known as axillary hyperhidrosis, and is a condition which causes the sufferer extreme embarrassment. Suffering with this problem is all too common for me because I had this problem for around a decade until I decided to do something about it.

I want to give you a few tips that you can apply right away to lessen your sweat problem first, so check these out. Make sure your underarms are very clean, and at the beginning and end of each day wash thoroughly with an anti-bacterial soap. Also try to avoid high caffeine foods as caffeine can make your body produce more sweat.

These are great starter tips, but I guess you want actual treatment; something that is going to work effectively, right? Well you’re in luck! Here are a few treatments that you can go through with to lessen your underarm sweat.

Botox – This is generally used in surgery but is also used in order to block your underarm sweat glands, however this is not a cure, and only a treatment. Some people who have done this procedure often regret doing it because they end up sweating more in order areas.

Iontophoresis – This is one of the oldest methods to stop underarm sweating and excessive sweating in general. Nobody really knows how it works, but many seem to think it has had great effect in reducing their problem. It can cost a lot of money to buy a kit though, so this is not open to all.

Natural Treatments – When I was learning how to stop armpit sweat I wanted something that was going to get to the root of the problem rather than just block the sweat glands for a while. If you want to check out some of the best natural methods around today, then visit “Beat Your Sweating Demons” right away!

If you are desperate to learn how to stop armpit sweating, then you’re in the right place! This article is going to have some SUPER effective methods that you can do right away to control your sweating problem, and I know they work because I too used to have really bad sweaty armpits, like, ultra severe sweat problems!

I remember many embarrassing experiences I had before I knew how to stop armpit sweating. I used to wear not one, but TWO undershirts followed by another shirt because I thought that the sweat wouldn’t be able to seep through, but it did! Luckily I managed to get rid of these terrible sweat patches and now I want to tell you how to get rid of them too.

You see, sweating is a normal bodily function, and everyone sweats at some point. However, people with hyperhidrosis, the medical term for excessive sweating, sweat constantly, and it can be a REAL source of embarrassment. Although no one really knows what causes it, there are plenty of treatments, both medical and natural, to get rid of this problem.

Now if you think that your sweat problem is slightly mild, then you may be able to get away with a few sprays of regular strength antiperspirant. Antiperspirant combats sweating problems rather well, however if you experience very little effect then you should try apply a stronger antiperspirant.

The downside to antiperspirants is that they don’t really cure the problem and only mask it, however if you really want to learn how to stop armpit sweating then you need to listen up.

If you’re willing to splash the cash, then you could opt for surgical treatment, such as iontophoresis. This treatment has been around for years and years and is one of the oldest treatments for excessive sweating, however no one really knows why it works! If you’re on a tighter budget though, you may want to find natural cures and remedies, and that’s exactly what I did!

Apple Vinegar – at night, apply apple vinegar or any other malt vinegar to your armpits. If you have armpit hair, trim it to a very short length. Let the apple vinegar air dry. It will saturate your armpit’s sweat pores, neutralizing odor causing bacteria and creating a drying effect.

Baking Soda – Apply baking soda to your armpits in conjunction with water. The baking soda is alkaline and your sweat is acid, so when your sweat mixes with the baking soda the sweat will evaporate straight away. Rinse off with water after about half an hour.
